Curis Functional Health is expanding its service portfolio by acquiring Activate Metabolics. This acquisition adds DNA-based weight loss to their already extensive portfolio of services offered at the company’s 20 locations.
Curis puts the majority of its efforts into incorporating mental health, whole-body wellness, physical wellbeing, and gut health through functional nutrition, chiropractic services, and counseling. Activate Metabolics, based in Carlinville, Illinois, has products that are already available in many states and is expected to double its client base after the acquisition.
Andre Angel, Co-Founder and Chairman of Curis, mentions: “We are excited about bringing Activate Metabolics and their proven DNA-based weight management system into Curis Functional Health. By adding their customized healthy weight loss system to our holistic wellness clinics, we will enable more patients to achieve healthier outcomes and a lifetime of complete wellness.”
Founded in 2018 in Dallas, Texas, Curis intends to offer many services to its clients to improve their well-being. Their wellness centers are able to treat mental, physical, and emotional stress using various methods including CBD treatments, nutrition programs developed especially for you by their specialists, chiropractic sessions, and now Activate’s weight loss products.
According to Dr. Bart Anderson of Activate, “We feel strongly about providing more and more solutions to those seeking true “wellness.” Our team recognizes that living in an overweight or obese condition is one of (if not “the”) most prevalent factors standing in the way of that for many Americans. That is not making any judgment or biased opinion at all. It is simply statistical and physiological truth. So, we chose to tackle the “elephant in the room” (no pun intended), and our goal is straightforward: to take massive action towards the obesity epidemic and change one life at a time.”
