In North Texas, the Fourth of July is no small affair as various towns and cities gear up to paint the sky with magnificent firework displays.

As The Dallas Express recently reported, several fireworks displays are in the works in Dallas, Fort Worth, Frisco, Plano, and Grand Prairie on the Fourth of July.

But for anyone who has waited till the last minute to plan their festive viewing this year or has changed up their plans due to parking woes, here is another list of Fourth of July events happening around North Texas on Monday and Tuesday.

MONDAY, JULY 3

Addison

Kaboom Town!

Monday, July 3, 5-11 p.m. at 4970 Addison Cir.

Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m., preceded by an airshow at 7:30 p.m.

While all general admission tickets for this event in Addison are already taken, guests at select hotels can still secure entry for up to six individuals by purchasing a stay package. Check out the list of participating hotels in Addison here.

Arlington 

Light Up Arlington

Monday, July 3, 6-10:30 p.m. at 101 S. Mesquite St.

Downtown Arlington will host a festival followed by a fireworks display — both free of charge.

Outdoor musical concerts, face painting booths, food trucks, and much more will be on-site ahead of the main event.

At 9:50 p.m., a 20-minute firework display will light up the skies above City Tower.

Carrollton

Community Fireworks Display

Monday, July 3, 9:30 p.m. at Josey Ranch Lake, 1700 Keller Springs Rd.

Josey Ranch Lake will host a 15-minute firework display from 9:30 p.m. Viewers can catch the show from the park or in a surrounding neighborhood. No other activities or amenities will be provided.

Denton

Drone Show

Monday, July 3, 9:30-10:30 p.m. at Downtown Denton Square.

While no fireworks are planned, a different kind of aerial display will be put on in Downtown Denton on Monday night.

Leading up to the drone show, check out the Fourth of July Jubilee from 6 p.m. Family-friendly activities like rock climbing, face painting, and games will be on offer alongside plenty of food fare and more from vendors.

North Richland Hills/Halton City

North Tarrant Family 4th Fireworks and Drone Show 

Monday, July 3, 5-10 p.m. at BISD Plaza, 6351 Blvd. 26.

Admission and parking are free at this year’s much-anticipated firework and drone show, slotted for 9:30-10 p.m.

Family-friendly activities — such as bounce houses and games — are available beforehand, starting at 5 p.m. There will also be live music performances and plenty of grub available for purchase from food trucks.

TUESDAY, JULY 4

Cleburne

4th of July Celebration

Tuesday, July 4, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. at Lake Pat Cleburne/Cleburne Golf Links, 2501 Country Club Rd.

While fireworks won’t be shot off the dam until after dark, guests are encouraged to come and enjoy the free festivities at Lake Pat Cleburne starting at 11 a.m. Plenty of vendors and food trucks will be on-site, so no outside food or drink is permitted.

Admission and parking are free at Lake Pat Cleburne, but to view the fireworks from Cleburne Golf Links, a fee of $25 per carload is required. Reservations also have to be made ahead of time here.

Dallas

A Star-Spangled Spectacular with the Dallas Winds

Tuesday, July 4, 1 p.m. at Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, 2301 Flora St.

An air-conditioned indoor fireworks display paired with a musical performance from the elite piccolo ensemble can be enjoyed at Meyerson Symphony Center.

Tickets are available for purchase to attend the concert either in person from $54 or online from $25.

Fair Park Fourth

Tuesday, July 4, 4:30-10 p.m. at 3809 Grand Ave.

A dazzling fireworks show is available to guests free of charge at Fair Park.

While waiting for the fireworks to go off after dark, come enjoy the food trucks, live music, children’s activities, and a variety of refreshments from assorted vendors.

Fort Worth

Fort Worth’s Fourth

Tuesday, July 4, 5 p.m. at Panther Island Pavilion, 395 Purcey St.

Guests are invited to float on the Trinity River and partake in various family-friendly activities at Panther Island Pavilion from 5 p.m.

Admission is free and plenty of concessions will be available for purchase on the riverbanks.
