Five-star basketball prospect and Duncanville High School graduate Ron Holland is turning pro.
The power forward announced on Thursday that he has joined G-League Ignite, a developmental team for the top high school prospects in the nation that plays in the NBA’s G-League.
Holland posted a picture of himself wearing the team’s uniform on his Instagram page with the caption, “Let’s work.”
Holland initially committed to paying at the University of Texas but asked to be released from his national letter of intent a few weeks ago.
Holland was a top-two player in the Class of 2023 and is projected to be an early selection in the 2024 NBA Draft.
