American Airlines pilots have agreed to a new four-year contract.

The Allied Pilots Association, the union representing the pilots, announced the collective bargaining agreement Friday.

The deal offers “pay and profit sharing that match the top of the industry with improved quality-of-life provisions unique to American’s pilots,” American said in a statement.

“We have the best and most professional pilots in the business, and like all American Airlines team members, they deserve to be paid well and competitively,” the statement added.

Details of the agreement will be announced later, the pilots union said.
