The Texas Rangers and Frisco RoughRiders were on the field Wednesday.

Here is what happened on the field and behind the scenes.

MLB

Texas Rangers (14-10, first in American League West)

Last Game: Cincinnati Reds 5, Rangers 3

The Reds took a 2-0 lead in the second, and the Rangers tied the game in the fifth. After falling behind by a run, Texas rallied to tie the game in the top of the ninth, only to allow a Nick Senzel walk-off home run in the bottom of the inning to give Cincinnati a three-game sweep.

Noteworthy: The Rangers were swept by the Reds 3-0. It is the first time Texas has been swept in three weeks, and the team is now 0-6 against the National League Central this season.

— Third baseman Josh Jung left the game after being hit by a pitch on the hand. X-rays were negative, and he is day-to-day with a contusion. Ezequiel Duran replaced him in the game and went 0-2.

— The Rangers maintain a half-game lead over the Houston Astros in the AL West. Texas has been in first place for 13 consecutive days.
