The Dallas Stars continued their playoff series against Minnesota, the Texas Rangers resumed a three-game set in Cincinnati, and the Frisco RoughRiders began a 12-game road trip.

Here is what happened on the ice, on the field, and behind the scenes.

NHL PLAYOFFS

Stars (lead series 3-2)

Last Game: Stars 4, Minnesota Wild 0

Tyler Seguin scored a power-play goal just over two minutes into the game, and the Stars rolled from there to take their first lead of the series. Jason Robertson and Mason Marchment added goals to put Dallas up 3-0, and Ty Dellandrea’s empty-netter clinched the game with 3:57 remaining. Jake Oettinger stopped 27 shots to earn his first shutout of the postseason.

Noteworthy: Dallas is one win away from reaching the Western Conference Semifinals.

— Tyler Seguin scored his fourth power-play goal of the series, setting a new franchise record for one round and tying Brenden Morrow for the second-most goals scored by a Stars player in the playoffs since 2008. If he scores another goal this series, he will become the first Stars player to score five goals in a single round since 2003.

— If the series goes to a seventh game, it will be played in Dallas on Sunday.
