Southwest Airlines flights at Dallas Love Field were grounded Tuesday morning.

The Dallas-based airline asked the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to “pause” all of its departures early Tuesday.

A tweet from the FAA announced the action.

“Please contact Southwest Airlines for more [information],” the tweet said.

On its Facebook page, Southwest said it was dealing with “technology issues” intermittently.

“Should hopefully be resuming our operation as soon as possible,” it said.

The FAA resumed flights at other airports Tuesday morning, but not in Dallas. Flights remained grounded as of 10:15 a.m. due to a lack of gate space.

FlightAware said about 2,500 Southwest flights were delayed.
