The home services company Paschal Air, Plumbing & Electric is expanding into Dallas-Fort Worth.
Based in Springdale, Arkansas, the company recently acquired the Dallas-based Walker Air, Plumbing & Electric, which has been serving clients in the area since 1963. Paschal plans to use its six decades of experience to build a presence in the metroplex.
Paschal CEO Charley Boyce expressed his excitement over the expansion.
“Walker has a great culture and a team of high-caliber technicians and customer service providers. We look forward to expanding and supporting this already successful team with the world-class systems, processes, and the customer-first mindset that are the hallmarks of our operations in Arkansas and Missouri,” Boyce said, according to Arkansas Money & Politics.
Paschal has locations in Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, and now Texas. It provides home repair, replacement, and maintenance services for air, plumbing, and electrical.
Paschal hopes to continue the high quality of service and workmanship that contributed to Walker’s legacy, AMP reported. In line with this, Coltala Holdings, a minority investor in Walker, will remain invested after Paschal’s takeover. The Dallas-based holding company will bring its knowledge of the Dallas area and expertise to Paschal.
Paschal has much to offer Walker as well. As AMP reported, the company has a rich culture of professionalism. It also gives its workers multiple benefits, including a 90-day paid training program for new hires.
Paschal is also a pioneer in the industry for having instituted a four-day workweek with the aim of prioritizing its workers’ work-life balance. The company was voted one of the best places to work by Arkansas Business in 2021, according to its site.
Paschal also brings its wealth of knowledge acquired through being in the business almost as long as Walker. Founded in 1968, this year marks the company’s 55th year in the industry.
The co-founder and co-CEO of Coltala Holdings, Edward Crawford, has long admired the company and its longevity, according to AMP.
When asked about the CEO, Boyce, Crawford said, “He is a third-generation HVAC owner-operator and we believe he and the broader Paschal team can help turbo-charge growth for the benefit of the company and the community at large in DFW.”
The fellow co-founder and co-CEO of Coltala Holdings, Ralph Manning, believes the Walker and Paschal will make an especially good pair.
