Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop recently opened a new location in Flower Mound.
The location opened on January 23 at 801 International Parkway, Suite 530.
A press release stated that the shop is “known for its award-winning, hand-crafted cheese steaks, turkey subs and more.”
The restaurant was founded in 1976, and according to the press release, it has won “numerous accolades.”
The restaurant is known for slow-roasting its turkey in-house and hand-pulling them every morning, a tradition they have kept for 47 years.
“The Flower Mound Capriotti’s will offer a convenient order-ahead option, in addition to third-party delivery services. The new shop will bring 20 new jobs to the Flower Mound community,” according to the press release.
This is the fourth Capriotti’s location in North Texas, adding to the two locations in Frisco and one in McKinney.
Elsewhere in Texas, you can find two Capriotti’s storefronts in Austin, one in El Paso, and one in College Station.
The restaurant also offers catering so customers can get box lunches or trays of their favorite sandwiches for big groups.
The chain’s most popular sandwich, The Bobbie, is made with Capriotti’s fresh, oven-roasted, and hand-pulled turkey with cranberry sauce, stuffing, and mayo, a true Thanksgiving classic that will make you feel like you are eating leftovers all year round.
If customers are not feeling like Thanksgiving, they can go for the well-loved Capastrami, which features hot pastrami, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing, and homemade coleslaw. Capriotti’s also has a variety of cheesesteaks which you can get with chicken, premium steak, or the “Impossible” plant-based protein, served with your choice of hot or sweet peppers.
Flower Mound location manager Erik Frazier said he was drawn to the restaurant because of its dedication to using good ingredients.
“Capriotti’s is known to have fresh, high-quality ingredients. It is a privilege to bring Capriotti’s award-winning sandwiches to Flower Mound and its surrounding areas,” Frazier said in the press release.
