A 24-year-old woman was fatally shot in her apartment on Thursday at Augustine Drive in Dallas, according to the DPD Beat.
According to the DPD Beat, Dallas PD officers received a shooting call on Thursday, January 14, at 2808 N. St Augustine Drive.
Officers arrived at the scene at approximately 9:55 p.m. and found the victim, a 24-year old Black female, inside her home with a gunshot wound. Dallas PD identified the victim as Brionne Christy Williams.
Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene and transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead, according to the DPD Beat.
Dallas police are now investigating the motives and circumstances surrounding the homicide.
