Looking to spend time with the family while simultaneously keeping out of the blistering sun? Dallas may have the answer, with a family-friendly weekly musical improv show set to debut on Saturday.

“Our Spaghetti Confetti summer series is a great way to beat the heat of summer. We offer free popsicles to patrons and you can pick your ticket price,” reads the Stomping Ground Comedy Theater website.

Stomping Ground Comedy Theater is located at 1350 Manufacturing St., just northwest of the Design District.

“Spaghetti Confetti is a fun, family-friendly improvised musical for all ages. Watch as our talented cast of musical comedians create an exciting and unscripted musical, full of adventure, courage, and heart that the whole family can enjoy,” the theater states.

The show will run every Saturday at 6 p.m. until August 3.

Going to a musical improv show is a wonderful way to enjoy summer with your family. The spontaneous comedy and live music create a fun, unpredictable atmosphere that everyone can enjoy. Sharing laughs and experiencing creativity together makes for memorable moments and strengthens family bonds.

The City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture is spending taxpayer money to support this month’s show.

Tickets for children under the age of 5 are free, and the theater is BYOB for those 21 and older, though visitors are encouraged to enjoy alcoholic beverages responsibly.

Spaghetti Confetti will feature a rotating cast that includes Melanie Robinson, Billy Betsill,  Milo Wilder, Jeremy Duchin, Lindsay Goldapp, Shenelle Peart, Liz Robinson, Kelsey Satalino, Patrick Murphy, Kimber Martin, Tristen Rouse, Shelby Harrison, and Greg Mihalik.

Lynsey Hale directs the show. Josh Diamond is the musical director, and Justin Wayne is the technical director.

Tickets are still available for the July 6 show, with recommended pricing ranging from $5 to $25 on the event website.

“Come to a show, and discover how you can help yourself and your community thrive through the power of laughter,” the theater says.
