Truck Crashes into Fire Station, Causes Hours-Long Power Outage

Yesterday morning around 10:54 a.m., Hurst Police responded to a call regarding a utility truck that crashed into the side of the Hurst Fire Station #1.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Precinct Line Road and Cannon Drive. No other vehicles were involved.

The police suspect the man suffered a medical emergency while driving.

He was transported to a hospital, where his condition remains unknown.

Several utility poles were knocked over in the crash. As a result, the area experienced a significant power outage lasting for several hours. No other persons were injured.
