Police Seeking Deep Ellum Shooting Suspect

The Dallas Police Department has released an image of a suspect wanted for the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man in Deep Ellum over the weekend, hoping that the public can help identify the man.

Officers were flagged down at Malcolm X Boulevard and Commerce Street, near the scene of the shooting, at around 1:17 a.m. on September 3.

They found a 20-year-old male lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.

The gunshot victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.

Authorities stated that further investigation revealed the victim was shot somewhere along the 2800 block of Clover Street.

Police are withholding the victim’s identity pending their notification of a next of kin.
