Police Looking for Person of Interest in Dallas Shooting

Dallas police are seeking the public’s help in an attempt to find a suspect wanted in a fatal shooting in Far North Dallas.

Dallas police were called to a shooting scene in a home in the 5600 block of Spring Valley Road, where responding officers found 27-year-old Ladwight Tremell Mitchell fatally shot. Mitchell had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.


Dallas police have identified DeAndre Hines as a person of interest in the shooting.

The Dallas PD requests that anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Hines immediately contact Agent Chelsea Whitaker with the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force at 214-557-9314 or email chelsea.whitaker@dallascityhall.com with the reference case number 178735-2021.
