Dallas police found a man fatally shot in his home in South Dallas on Tuesday.
Officers responded to a call just before 5 p.m. to a home in the 3800 block of Cauthorn Drive, near Elsie Faye Heggins Street and Scyene Road. When they arrived at the address, they found a man dead with gunshot wounds.
An incident report states that police believe the man had been dead since as early as Sunday.
