Dallas police said a man died in a car crash while chasing suspects who allegedly shot and killed his brother.

The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on October 24. Dallas police officers responded to a shooting call in the 4200 block of Copeland Street.

Responding officers found Marco Clewis shot in his home. Marco was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said his brother Buris Clewis got into his vehicle and chased after the suspect, who fled the scene in a small white four-door vehicle, possibly a Nissan Sentra. Buris crashed his vehicle at 3600 Elsie Faye Heggins Street. Police said he died from his injuries.

The Dallas police department is currently investigating the murder. The police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call Detective Tonya McDaniel at 214-671-4236.
