No homicides have been reported so far for Sunday, but a 2 a.m. disturbance call on Monday outside the Hyde & Seek nightclub in Downtown Dallas led to an officer-involved shooting. Officers confronted and fired at an armed suspect in the 2000 block of Commerce Street, where multiple people had reportedly been shot during an altercation. The suspect and one of the shooting victims died at the scene, and an unknown number of other shooting victims were transported to the hospital in stable condition.

More than 90 officers responded to the scene, and many remained on-site for several hours as the investigation continued. Commerce Street was shut down until about 9:15 a.m. The Municipal Court Building, located adjacent to the scene of the shooting, will be closed all day on Monday, opening at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, NBC 5 DFW reported.
