18-Year-Old Fatally Shot at Convenience Store

The Dallas Police Department has revealed that an 18-year-old man died after an unknown person shot him in the neck on Monday at a 7-Eleven store in east Oak Cliff.

According to Dallas Police, officers were dispatched to the scene on May 9 at approximately 7:45 a.m. The incident occurred at a convenience store in the 2900 block of East Ledbetter Drive, near Bonnie View Road.

Upon arrival, officers found 18-year-old Semaj Mills with a gunshot wound to the neck. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene and transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he died of his injuries.

Dallas Police are currently investigating the shooting but did not say if there was any person of interest.
